Overview for Visiting Societies

Gerrards Cross Golf Club welcomes societies on Thursdays and Fridays throughout the year. During the main playing season we can either offer you a variety of golf and catering packages or you may wish to tailor your own. The Club is easy to find with good access from the M1, M25, M4 and M40 motorways. A warm reception to your society is assured from our experienced staff at Gerrards Cross who aim to please throughout your day with us. A friendly host will ensure that all of your guests are assisted in every possible way. Matthew Barr and his team in the Pro shop will also be on hand to serve and advise you.  

Golf

You can choose to play 18, 28 or 36 holes with green fees on a sliding scale depending on the size of the society. We recommend the 3 ball Stableford format for society golf. Four ball groups may be  permitted  for  societies playing in the afternoon, please consult the GXGC office.Tee times will be reserved for you. We can arrange for "nearest the pin" and "longest drive" markers to be made available and will send score cards for those who wish to mark up cards in advance.  A Club starter will provide information and assist with ensuring players tee off on time and within their reserved society slot .Towels are provided in the locker rooms.

Gerrards Cross Golf Club takes pride in its catering , the full range of  2010 food options  and pricing can be downloaded from the link below.  Please discuss any other  requirements with the GXGC Office staff. Special dietary meals can also be supplied  by our chef, please include this information on the booking form or make enquiries to the club before the day.

Society organisers can build their own package using the appropriate green fee rates and the Society  Menu 2010  information which can be downloaded  from the link above. Organisers are reminded, if  the number of players who actually play on the day is lower or higher than those originally booked, a different band of green fee charges may apply.
