The Ladies Section is very proud of its latest Champion, Andrea Vanner who defeated all the opposition to win the County Challenge Cup in the Silver Division. The final  was played at Mentmore in difficult windy conditions on Sunday 23rd October. Her opponent in the final was Carolyn Howell from Woburn playing off a single figure handicap.  After a nervy start, Andrea regained her confidence, ably assisted by her caddie and friend, Lisa Ryan, to win on the 17th hole. Andrea’s Mum, Hilary and Vice Captain Glenise were quietly encouraging from the sidelines. Many Congratulations Andrea from all the ladies.
