GX members and guests gathered at the Club to bid farewell to 2011 and welcome in 2012. Following a four-course meal and brief formalities to thank Glenise Marfell for the great job she had done with the decorations and the Clubhouse team for the enjoyable meal. Dancing commenced to the sounds of GX regulars "Trampoline".

With the dance floor never empty it was soon time to count down to the New Year. With Club Captain, Derek Messenger on hand the technical side of time keeping went smoothly, the champage flowed as 2012 arrived with a flourish.

A great atmosphere filled the Club until the early hours - for those who missed out, there will be more to come throughout 2012 in a packed Social Calendar.
