Being A Member
Gerrards Cross is a members' golf club owned by and run for our members. Our primary aims are to provide as good a members’ experience as we can whilst looking after the longer-term development of the club. We are guided by our aim to be the best members club in the county.
Every member is encouraged to regard their relationship with the club as that of a custodian rather than a customer, sharing responsibility to maintain the standards expected of a leading golf club. It means we respect traditions but are open to change; that we encourage inclusion, diversity and respect for each other..
We value the diversity of our membership which includes a thriving ladies’ section, a very active men’s seniors group, probably the biggest intermediate section in the region and a strong junior group. Our scratch teams are extremely competitive with lots of low handicap players and our various other teams are equally popular with members and successfully compete against neighbouring clubs.
Members also enjoy reciprocity with 10 other high-quality courses, 8 are within an hour's drive of Gerrards Cross, and then there’s two outstanding courses in Northern Spain including Pedrena, where Seve Ballesteros learned to play the game.
Our busy clubhouse is the setting for the social side which is the envy of many clubs near and far.
The Club is financially strong. This enables continued investment in the course, clubhouse and facilities to achieve and maintain the highest standards.
We currently have a full membership but welcome applications from new members who share our values. The office will be pleased to estimate the waiting time in your category and advise on the application process.
