Centenary Junior Captain' s Drive In

Sunday 9th January was a beautiful winter morning,  members and guests gathered for the Centenary Junior Captain’s Drive In. The Men’s and Ladies’ Captains officiated and expressed thanks to outgoing Junior Captain, Grace Rigby-Walden. They welcomed the incoming Vice Captain, Kabir Hunjan and Captain, Jenna Campbell-Byrne onto the tee.  Jenna's magnificent drive of 208 yards off 7.8  handicap drew cheers  and applause from the gallery. The traditional sweepstake was won by Claudia Weston.  We wish Jenna and Kabir the best of luck for an enjoyable year and let's be optimistic that the days of severe covid restrictions are behind us.
