England Golf Awards 2026

Dear member

I am delighted to share some fantastic news with you.

Gerrards Cross GC has been selected as a finalist for the England Golf Awards 2026, having made the shortlist of three for the prestigious Tournament Venue of the Year Award for the English Senior Women’s Strokeplay Championship we hosted in June 2025.

The annual England Golf Awards celebrate organisations and people that have made exceptional contributions to the sport of golf - click here to see the list of awards and nominations.  Our nomination reflects the high standards we uphold across the Club and acknowledges the quality of our facilities, course presentation, and the delivery of this championship.  Being shortlisted is a significant achievement of which we can all be very proud.

The overall winner will be announced at the England Golf Awards Dinner in March, where organisations and individuals from across the country will be recognised for excellence.

I would like to thank our staff for their continued professionalism and dedication, and the members who volunteered their support during the championship:  both groups – and the membership as a whole - played an important role in helping us achieve this recognition.
